Home Alone Safety Course

This course will equip children ages 9 and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to create a safe and responsible environment while staying home alone. Participants will learn and demonstrate the importance of safety topics such as preventing and handling emergencies, fire safety, home escape plans, and basic fire aid. Students will also learn bike and traffic safety, street smarts, stranger danger, online and interest safety, and simple meal preparation. This course is funded by the Dr. Lyle F. Renodin Foundation.
